The Artist

Hello fellow music lovers. I hope you find a bit of sanctuary here in our folds of musical obsession.

My name is Janelle and I am Cardy #2.

A few of my general addictions include but are not limited to:

--Music. Obviously. It drives my inner being and my purpose in life. I would simply not survive without it. I love getting to know new bands, especially small ones no one else knows about.

--Converse. I now own 11 pairs. And before you freak out and ask why the heck I would be so crazy over a brand of shoes, you have to understand that they are more than just that. They are a way of life. They've been leading the rebel cause through art and sport and music for the past hundred years and are still an iconic American way of living.

--Art. Just like music, it's what keeps me alive. I've got over 20 free-hand paintings/drawings on my bedroom walls. You'll see my stuff hung up one day.

--Seattle. I'm going there someday. It's in a state that rains nine months out of the year. Dream. City.

--Other languages. I think everyone should learn a different language. Things lost in translation can be communicated better. I'm currently studying German and ASL.

Besides that, I am your average almost 18 year old. I go to school. Get decent grades. I'm saving up for life after high school, most of which will consist of traveling to Seattle and Germany and attending Utah State University. And dude, I am so excited to be an Aggie. I'm so excited to go to college.
