Some kind of poison to take

The good thing about having friends interested in the same music as you is they help you find the beautiful hidden little gems that are mostly unknown, even to big fans. 

Cardy #3 introduced me to this song When We're Old Men [by none other than Yellowcard] and I fell for it. 

It's the type of song that warms your heart, but not in the cozy-Christmas-fire way. It makes you feel something, which is exactly what music should do.

The only videos that youtube has to offer for this song are lyrical videos, and I don't want to make you watch one of those, but the link is up there anyway.

All Time Low

This song makes me laugh. All Time Low wrote this song specifically to make fun of the music industry and the crap that happens to people in it. The acoustic version I like a bit more partially because they don't have people talking in the background, but they make it sound way happy and summer-y. The music video is funny, but it has bit-more-that-sketchy parts, so consider this a warning if you don't want to see that kind of stuff. I love songs that make me want to go outside in a t-shirt, shorts, and sunglasses. This song is perfect for that.
